 Understanding the maze of information and regulations regarding Occupational Health and Safety can be a full time job… in fact it is for many! Aside from dealing with compliance issues alone, there are ongoing activities, training and maintenance that need to be handled on an as-needed basis, specific to individual companies or organizations. It takes a dedicated effort to analyze exactly which programs are required for your unique operations, to remain current on regulation changes, and to prepare, implement, and maintain the appropriate safety program.
So where do you begin? If you are like the majority of companies, you do not have a full time person or staff dedicated to this task.
