     Mold Project Example #1:
     Investigation for a Large Real Estate Developer

Sterling & Associates was retained by a large residential construction company to perform fungi/mold evaluations of 80 newly constructed and occupied homes. The initial surveys identified extensive fungi contamination, including Stachybotrys. Sterling developed a remediation protocol for the remediation of the fungi, provided oversight of remedial tasks, and performed clearance sampling following remediation. As an additional precaution, follow-up testing was also performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the remediation project, after occupancy by the new homeowners.
