1. INTERNSHIP POSITION - INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE/SAFETY TECHNICIAN
Sterling & Associates, an Environmental Health & Safety consulting firm located in Milpitas has an internship opening for a technician-level individual to assist us in providing support to our clients on related EH&S projects. Activities include: industrial hygiene monitoring, indoor air quality sampling, environmental sampling, assisting in EH&S training programs, and assistance in the development of EH&S programs.
The individual should have or be working toward a degree in industrial hygiene, safety, or similar, with a background in chemistry or biology; computer and excellent communication skills a must. Position allows for flex scheduling as necessary.
2. INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST/SAFETY SPECIALIST
Sterling & Associates, Inc., an Environmental Health & Safety consulting firm has an immediate opening for an Industrial Hygienist/Safety Specialist to assist us in providing support to our clients on related IH & EH&S projects. Activities include: industrial hygiene monitoring, indoor air quality sampling, fungal investigations, environmental sampling, EH&S program development and training.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicable degree in industrial hygiene, safety, environmental engineering, or similar
2. Background in chemistry or biology
3. Minimum 3 years of related experience
4. Advanced writing skills and technical report generation
5. High level of computer knowledge
6. Excellent verbal communication skills
7. Must possess good organizational skills and initiative
8. Excellent time management practices
